LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing AmLaw firm in Nashville to recruit an experienced entertainment associate. This is a rare opportunity to join a large law firm in Nashville with a thriving entertainment practice and to work with partners who are leaders in this space and extremely well-connected in Nashville's elite entertainment industry.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience representing music and film industry clients in a variety of transactional matters. Corporate transactional (catalog sale) experience in this space is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and counsel to music and film industry clients, including record labels, recording artists, music and film companies, songwriters, and other entertainment industry clients.
• Advise on corporate transactions, specifically catalog sale transactions encompassing publishing rights and master recordings.
• Advise on IP and licensing matters, including managing trademark portfolios and drafting and negotiating various agreements (NDAs and employment agreements).

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials
• 3+ years of experience in transactional entertainment law with a large law firm or highly sophisticated entertainment boutique
• Corporate transactional experience is a must
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Licensed in good standing in current jurisdiction and ability to become licensed to practice in Tennessee.
